Director and Consultant
Largin Pharma Consulting was founded and is directed by Laura Larrú who acts as an independent consultant with over 17 years of experience in the fields of Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs.
She has spent her career occupying different roles in Pharmacovigilance, Medical, Drug Safety and Regulatory Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry and in 2017 established herself as an independent consultant. Since then, she has collaborated with pharmaceutical companies and CROs helping them to create and consolidate their global systems and processes for Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety and acting as a local partner in Spain.
She joined an international group of consultants (JPPC Associates) where she is a key contributor in providing solutions for global and US-based companies in the fields of Compliance Monitoring and Vendor Oversight, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Gap analysis and Remediations, Signal Detection processes, Safety Data Exchange Agreements (SDEA), Pharmacovigilance Training, SOPs and Corporate Policies.

Laura has extensive knowledge of EMA and international regulations and guidelines (ICH, CIOMS, FDA) and a solid background in Quality Systems, GVP requirements and processes related to Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety.​

Since 2013 she is a trainer in Pharmaceutical Industry Post-graduate courses and Masters at theUniversity of Barcelona.
​
She received a bachelor's degree in Biology (Medical-Health Speciality) and a MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology by the University of Barcelona (UB). She performed part of her MSc research project in the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI).
